A new dessert shop with a sweet specialty is coming to Bradenton

Manatee County’s first Nothing Bundt Cakes is planned for the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour shopping center near State Road 64 and Interstate 75.

The new dessert shop will open in a nearly 2,000-square-foot space, according to leasing plans by the plaza’s developer, Edgewood Properties.

An opening date has not been announced.

According to developer plans, Nothing Bundt Cakes will be in a five-unit building north of LongHorn Steakhouse.

Nothing Bundt Cakes specializes in Bundt cakes, a dessert popularized in the 1950s and 1960s after inventor H. David Dalquist created the first Bundt cake pan, according to the Los Angeles Times.
