This national ice cream chain is adding another Bradenton location
East Manatee will see a new ice cream parlor in the future.
Cold Stone Creamery signed a lease for a 1,588-square-foot unit in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour shopping center off State Road 64 near Interstate 75.
It marks the third Cold Stone in the Bradenton area. The other two locations are inside the University Town Center Mall and at 7476 Cortez Road West in the Paradise Bay shopping plaza.
Cold Stone’s spot in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour will be next to Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza, which also recently signed a lease, according to Edgewood Properties’ leasing plan. Edgewood is the developer for the plaza at 805 Lighthouse Drive in Bradenton.
The units for both will be near Hobby Lobby.
Costco anchors the shopping center, featuring Target, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Miller’s Ale House, LongHorn Steakhouse and more.
Some future tenants include Whole Foods, Chick-fil-A and Qdoba Mexican Eats.
New Cold Stone coming to Bradenton
Cold Stone’s signature is the cold, marble slab where ice cream creations are crafted. While customers can create their own ice cream with various ingredients mixed in, there are 26 flavor combinations — and three additional for children — on its menu.
Some popular signature creations include Birthday Cake Remix, Chocolate Devotion, Peanut Butter Cup Perfection and Founder’s Favorite.
Ice cream creations are scooped and primed on a marble slab, with ingredients mixed into the ice cream base. They are served in three sizes: the 5-ounce Like It, 8-ounce Love It and 12-ounce Gotta Have It.
And they can be served in a cup or waffle cone.
The Birthday Cake Remix is made with cake batter ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, brownie and fudge; the Chocolate Devotion is comprised of chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, brownie and fudge; the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection has chocolate ice cream, peanut butter, Reese’s peanut butter cups and fudge and the Founder’s Favorite has sweet cream ice cream, pecans, brownie, fudge and caramel.
What else is on the menu?
In addition to the create your own or signature creations to choose from, Cold Stone’s menu features ice cream cakes, pies, cupcakes and sandwiches as well as smoothies, shakes and sorbet.
Donald and Susan Sutherland founded Cold Stone in Tempe, Arizona, in 1988. By 1994, the quick-service ice cream shop began franchising. Currently, there are more than 1,000 locations in the United States and 300 international locations in 20 countries.
