Chick-fil-A is planning another Manatee County restaurant. Here’s where

Chick-fil-A is planning yet another new restaurant in Manatee County, building records show.

The popular fast-food restaurant chain has signed a lease at 7283 State Road 64 E., Bradenton.

The new Chick-fil-A will be in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour shopping plaza near Interstate 75, according to Edgewood Properties, the New Jersey-based company that developed the plaza.

Costco anchors the commercial development, which is also home to Miller’s Ale House, LongHorn Steakhouse and other new shopping and dining options.

A new Target is also set to open in the plaza on Aug. 17.

Plans show the new Chick-fil-A will have a drive-thru, and it will occupy more than 4,800 square feet on the eastern side of the plaza.

The company has not announced an opening date for the new restaurant.

Chick-fil-A expanding in Manatee County

Currently, there are five Chick-fil-A stores in Manatee County.

Its newest restaurant opened in May in the Bayshore Gardens shopping center, where Duff’s Buffet once stood. And another Chick-fil-A is planned for Parrish, near the intersection of Moccasin Wallow Road and Carter Road, the Bradenton Herald previously reported.

Chick-fil-A restaurants are open Monday through Saturday offering their signature chicken sandwiches. Other popular menu items include the spicy chicken sandwich, waffle fries, chicken nuggets and lemonade.

S. Truett Cathy founded Chick-fil-A in 1967. The family-owned company has more than 3,000 restaurants in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
