Red tide levels lower in Manatee, Sarasota after Hurricane Michael churns up the Gulf
A new report from the FWC suggests that red tide levels are much lower in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Scientists previously said a big storm like Hurricane Michael could help disperse the algae bloom that has plagued Florida for nearly a year.
