The latest on the COVID-19 pandemic in Bradenton and Manatee County.
More coronavirus cases in Manatee County
An additional 20 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Manatee County, according to the Florida Department of Health.
They were among 595 new cases reported statewide on Sunday.
Manatee County has now had 756 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since testing for the coronavirus began.
Seventy-four people in Manatee County have died.

Husband, wife died of COVID-19 within 48 hours of each other
Tom and Judy Therrian of Ellenton were married 62 years before dying of complications from COVID-19 within 48 hours of each other in April.
“Neither one of them could have lived without the other one,” said their son, Timothy Therrian.
Thomas Neal Therrian, 84, died at 8:11 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton He was born on Jan. 29, 1936, in Lansing, Mich., to Lawrence and Pearl (Cherry) Therrian.
Judith Ann Jensen Therrian, 80, died at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20, also at Manatee Memorial Hospital. She was born on Sept. 12, 1939, in Lansing, Mich., to Walter and Edith (Webber) Jensen.

ORGANIZATIONS OFFERING HELP
Resources are available to help struggling Manatee County residents through the COVID-19 pandemic. Opportunities also exist to support local relief efforts, which are facing a sudden and overwhelming demand.
With all schools closed through May 1, area students might struggle to find their daily lunch, and parents may need child care while they continue working. Other residents are losing work hours or jobs with the restrictions placed on restaurants and bars.
