This Manatee County property recently sold for more than $76 million

The Echo Lake Apartments at Lakewood Ranch sold for more than $76 million earlier this month, the latest in a growing number of high-dollar transactions of multi-unit residential properties across Manatee County in 2017.

The 360-unit complex, built in 2016 and located at 11502 Echo Lake Circle, sold for $76,117,500, according to Manatee County records.

One of Lakewood Ranch’s newest apartment communities, Echo Lake features one-, two- and three-bedroom units, with rent ranging from $1,235 to $1,645 per month.

The complex features a 3.5-acre park, a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, a 2,500-square-foot zero-entry saltwater pool and a 2,300-square-foot fitness center.

Echo Lake opened Sept. 24, 2016, and had its official grand opening last December.

Tri of Lakewood Ranch Apartments LLC, which has addresses in Milwaukee and Cocoa Beach, sold the property to Northland Investment Corp., based in Newton, Mass.

Northland also owns the Yacht Club at Heritage Harbour complex in Bradenton among its 31 Florida properties.

This marks the fifth notable sale of a multi-unit residential property in Manatee County this year.

The others:

• The Gardens, a manufactured home community with 1,100 sites in Parrish, sold for $80 million in August, marking the largest real estate transactions of the year in the county;
• The 376-unit Champions Walk apartment complex in Bradenton sold for $58 million in August;
• The 264-unit Lost Creek at Lakewood Ranch apartment complex sold for $50.5 million in May.
• The 154-unit Avalon Square Apartment Homes in Bradenton sold for $11,988,000 in June.
