This Greek restaurant just opened its first Manatee County location
A popular Tampa-based Greek restaurant recently opened in Parrish.
The Hungry Greek announced it opened Monday, Jan. 19, at 8980 U.S. 301 N. #118 inside the Creekside Commons shopping plaza.
“Every dish is prepared from scratch, in-house; and we collaborate with other local businesses whenever possible,” the restaurant says on its website. “Our mission is to deliver the fastest, freshest, and most convenient meals without ever sacrificing flavor.”
Lowe’s, ALDI, HomeGoods and other stores are in the plaza located at the northeast corner of Erie Road and U.S. 301.
The Hungry Greek is located between a 3Natives restaurant and a Verizon Wireless store.
The restaurant offers a variety of options, including bowls, pitas, salads, soups, and meals.

- Greek salad
- Tabouli salad
- Avegolemono (Greek lemon chicken) soup
- Gyro pita with tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce
- Greek bowl
- Chicken souvlaki meal
- Falafel meal
- Gyro meal
- Side dishes such as rice pilaf, hummus and more
The Parrish location is the company’s 14th restaurant, but its first in Manatee County. George Constantinou co-founded the restaurant with his father in West Tampa in the early 2000s.
The Hungry Greek in Parrish is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
