Food stored at high temperatures continues to plague Bradenton restaurants

Two Bradenton restaurants ran into issues keeping food below food inspectors’ suggested 41 degrees Fahrenheit in last week’s food inspections.

  • During an Oct. 9 inspection of Panda Buffet, 3901 Manatee Ave., Bradenton, inspectors observed raw shelled eggs and poultry being cold-held at 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Inspectors reported the same during a follow-up inspection four days later. Panda Buffet also was advised to keep track of its food monitoring board that is used to track how long food has been on the buffet table.
  • At Peach’s Restaurant, 3201 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, inspectors found eggs on the cook line being held at room temperature instead of the suggested 41 degrees Fahrenheit on Oct. 9. Inspectors also discovered a reach-in cooler holding fruit at temperatures as high as 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
