Jersey Mike’s fans can find a new offering on their next sub run.

The signature chicken salad sub hit menus in early April, offering customers a taste of Jersey Mike’s revamped chicken salad recipe, the New Jersey-based sandwich chain said in a news release.

The sub — topped with a mixture of slow-roasted white meat chicken, diced celery, black pepper and mayonnaise — is available for a limited time at participating shops nationwide, according to a product description.

Jersey Mike’s previously offered a different version of the sandwich but it was only available at certain stores, a brand spokesperson told McClatchy News.

Customers can order the new chicken salad sub as a sandwich or a bowl, the restaurant said. It’s served “Mike’s Way” with onions, lettuce, tomato, oil, vinegar and spices, or customers’ choice of toppings.

Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.

It’s the latest chicken-forward offering to land on Jersey Mike’s menu of handcrafted subs in recent months.

The brand launched its hot, grilled spicy chicken Italian sub and roasted chicken breast sub, a cold sandwich option, earlier this year, according to the release.

More recently, Jersey Mike’s added the Mike’s Hot Honey chicken cheese steak, featuring chicken steak, grilled onions, American cheese and grilled pepperoni. The sub is then finished with a drizzle of extra hot Mike’s Hot Honey, the restaurant said.

The new chicken salad sub is available for a limited time, though Jersey Mike’s didn’t say for how long.
