Pennsylvania police are looking for two people they say broke into a home and shot a paralyzed man in bed.

At 3:24 a.m. Nov. 5, Philadelphia police responded to reports of a shooting, according to a news release.

A 28-year-old man was found inside his home with two gunshot wounds, one in the shoulder and one in the torso, police said.

The two men broke into the house by pulling out an air conditioner in the window, investigators told WCAU.

The man was paralyzed and bedridden, WPVI reported.

There was no altercation leading up to the shooting, detectives told WPVI.

A woman and her 4-year-old daughter were inside the home but were not harmed and nothing was stolen, according to WCAU.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and police say the case is under investigation.
