Search continues for suspect wanted for robbing $400 from C1 Bank in Northwest Bradenton
MANATEE -- The search continues for the man deputies say robbed $400 from a C1 Bank in Northwest Bradenton at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Chad Edward Reed, 26, is a suspect in the robbery of C1 Bank at 7202 Manatee Ave. W., according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. Detectives obtained a warrant Wednesday charging Reed with robbery.
"We'll track him down," sheriff's office spokesman Dave Bristow said Thursday.
Reed walked into the bank, demanded money and the teller complied.
Reed left on foot heading east on Manatee Avenue, ac
cording to the sheriff's office incident report.
Deputies searched the area, but did not find the suspect who wore black pants, black jacket with a hoodie, and a hat with "NYC" on it during the robbery.
No weapon was reported.
Reed's criminal history includes prior arrests for possession of marijuana, violation of probation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.
