Manatee deputies obtain arrest warrant for man in connection with robbery at Bradenton bank
MANATEE -- Detectives with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office have obtained an arrest warrant charging a man with robbing a C1 Bank in Northwest Bradenton.
Chad Edward Reed, 26, is wanted in connection to a robbery that took place at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to an earlier release, deputies said a man wearing sunglasses entered the bank at 7202 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, and approached one of the tellers.
"The suspect demanded money and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash," a release states. "No weapon was seen."
According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded and searched the area but could not locate the suspect.
Reed's criminal history includes prior arrests for possession of cannabis, violation of probation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.
