Man robs C1 Bank in Bradenton

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery at a C1 Bank in Bradenton.

At 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies said a man wearing sunglasses entered the bank at 7202 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, and approached one of the tellers.

"The suspect demanded money and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash," a release states. "No weapon was seen."

According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded and searched the area but could not locate the suspect, who was described as a 6-foot man in his 20s or 30s, with a thin build and wearing black pants, black jacket with a hoodie, and a hat with "NYC" on it.
