Bradenton man gets lucky on a Florida Lottery scratch-off. The prize: $1 million

A million dollar dream became reality for a Bradenton man who recently claimed the top prize on a $30 scratch-off ticket.

Marco Moschini, 55, purchased the winning ticket at Lakewood Ranch Mobil, 6290 Lake Osprey Drive, according to the Florida Lottery.

The game that Moschini bought, “The Fastest Road to $1,000,000,” launched in February and offers 155 top prizes of $1 million, as well as other cash prizes. So far, 15 top prizes have been claimed. Odds of winning anything are 1-in-2.79.

Moschini chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $790,000, and the Mobil station received a $2,.000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

Scratch-offs and other Florida Lottery games continue to fund the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund and the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
