All About Business | New Wingstop opens in area, 3Natives, Culver’s also planned

A number of new dining options have arrived in the Bradenton-Sarasota area or are coming soon.

Opening recently was Manatee County’s second Wingstop at 573 10th St. E, in Suite 583 of the Palmetto Village Shopping Center.

The first Wingstop opened in 2016 at 3553 First St. E., Bradenton, with rapper Rick Ross as the franchise owner.

The Palmetto franchise is owned by Marc Hermann, whose other Wingstops are located in Seffner, Clearwater and Brandon.

Both of the Manatee County restaurants are open 11 a.m.-midnight seven days a week.

Also coming in the near future:

The second 3Natives, a fast-casual Florida chain known as a fresh and healthy food provider, is coming in the spring to University Town Center, next to PlayTri in the new outparcel building adjacent to the Homewood Suites.

The 1,400-square-foot location will offer a variety of cold-pressed juices and smoothies, acai bowls, salads, wraps and more, made in-house with locally sourced ingredients.

3Natives was founded in 2013 in Tequesta as a small juice bar, with the goal to bring healthy and quick food to the community. The company has grown to 19 stores around the state.

The first Bradenton-area 3Natives, owned by Patrick McCarthy, opened in 2020 at 11577 State Road 70 E., near the Lakewood Ranch Winn Dixie.

A 4,635-square-foot Culver’s restaurant is planned for 13150 State Road 64 E.

The quick-serve restaurant is known for its frozen custard and ButterBurgers.

Culver’s are located in the Bradenton area at 5750 Ranch Lake Blvd., 3515 Cortez Road W., and 4714 S.R. 64 E.

It’s official — a Publix Super Market and liquor store is coming to the Parrish area at 11635 Mocasin Wallow Road.

The developer is listed as Moccasin Wallow Associates LLC, a subsidiary of Neal Communities, 5800 Lakewood Ranch Blvd.

The Herald reported two weeks ago that an unnamed grocery was planned in by Parrish Neal Land & Neighborhoods. Neal is asking for site plan approval to develop a grocery store in its Riverfield neighborhood of North River Ranch. The store would be located on a 5.97-acre tract about one-half mile west of U.S. 301 south of Moccasin Wallow Road.
