What’s new in Manatee? Restaurants headline new businesses coming in the next few weeks

A handful of new restaurants and businesses are coming to the Manatee County area in the coming weeks. Here are some to keep an eye out for:

Healthy drinking and eating

The newest addition to the University Town Center area is a healthy one.

“We could not be more excited to bring an organic juice bar to Sarasota,” said Kimberly Gordon, owner of the new Clean Juice location coming to 5215 University Parkway.

Clean Juice will host its grand opening from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday. According to a release, the chain is “the first and only USDA certified organic juice bar franchise.”

Offerings include smoothies, cold-pressed bottles and acai bowls, which are a popular trend right now. To celebrate the debut, visitors will receive a free 8-ounce juice with any purchase.

Stretch yourself

Thrive Yoga & Fitness recently held its grand opening celebration at 8819 Cortez Road W. in Bradenton.

Owner Erin Colleen Linzi's studio offers yoga and bodywork classes and several private services, and she bills her studio as a place of physical and mental healing as well as growth.

Women’s boutique

Ellenton’s Premium Outlets will soon be home to a new women’s boutique.

Francesa’s has announced that it will host a grand opening March 24. The Houston-based fashion store has more than 700 locations in the U.S. Two are in the Sarasota area.

According to a release, the first 25 visitors at Francesca’s will receive gift cards.

Tea time

A popular Tampa-based tea company is branching out into the area, as well.

TeBella Tea Co. will open its location at the Mall at UTC in April. The shop also has locations in Tampa and St. Petersburg and specializes in loose-leaf tea.

Celebrity fashion

There’s also a well-known fashion brand coming to the Mall at UTC.

The mall revealed that Louis Vuitton is “coming soon” via its website. The brand is coveted by celebrities, who usually can afford the price tags that tend to be in the thousands of dollars.
