Manatee County has several new restaurants. See the list of recent openings
Manatee County foodies have seen new dining options open throughout the Bradenton area in recent weeks.
From a fusion of Caribbean and Italian foods to a dessert shop and more, there have been several new restaurant openings recently.
Here’s a look at those restaurants:
Chipotle Mexican Grill
The county’s newest Chipotle Mexican Grill is scheduled to open Monday at 6016 Manatee Ave. in Bradenton.
The location will feature a drive-thru pick-up lane called the Chipotlane. The fast-casual chain features customizable bowls, burritos, chips and more. Beginning Tuesday, Chipotle’s menu will have Chicken al Pastor as a limited-time protein offering.
The new restaurant will be open daily from 10:45 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Flavaz Slice & Spice
The restaurant, which started in Riverview, expanded its reach into Manatee County with a location at 3306 Manatee Ave. W., in Bradenton.
Flavaz recently opened with its blend of Italian and Jamaican cuisine. Italian classics, such as pizza and pastas, are fused with authentic Jamaican flavors such as jerk chicken, brown stewed chicken, jerk shrimp, oxtail and curry goat.
Owner Delaney Hawkins-Shaw bought the space previously occupied by Godson’s Pizzeria and the Godson’s concept, which meant utilizing Godson’s popular pizza recipe.
“So we did Flavaz Slice for the pizza and Spice to represent the Jamaican portion,” she said.

The Milkshake Factory
The Pittsburgh-based chain recently opened in the Beachway Plaza in the Palma Sola area at 7230 Manatee Ave. W. Unit 13.
The shop, which is locally owned by franchisees Renee and Brent Schadenberg, features classic and non-dairy milkshake flavors, but also has signature and gourmet shakes as well as housemade chocolates.
The Milkshake Factory’s most popular flavor is the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry.
“I love that we can make people’s day,” Renee Schadenberg said.

The Hungry Greek
Popular Tampa-based The Hungry Greek opened in Parrish’s Creekside Commons plaza recently.
Located at 8980 U.S. 301 N. #118, The Hungry Greek offers various menu items such as bowls, pitas, salads, soups and meals. A Greek lemon chicken soup, called Avegolemono, is a menu staple alongside Chicken souvlaki, Gyro pita, Greek bowl, Tabouli salad and Falafel meal.

Einstein Bros. Bagels
The first Manatee County location for popular Einstein Bros. Bagels has opened. As part of the continued development off State Road 64 near Interstate 75, Einstein Bros. Bagels opened at 7625 State Road 64 E., Bradenton, in The Landing at Heritage Harbour plaza.
The menu boasts more than 20 fresh-baked bagel flavors. In addition to classic, signature and gourmet bagels, the fast-casual chain has various egg sandwiches on bagels, lunch sandwiches and beverages.
