One of the most popular burger chains in the U.S. is coming to Parrish.

According to Manatee County Development Services records, a new Five Guys restaurant is planned for 8990 U.S. 301 N. in Creekside Commons. Plans were recently filed to improve an existing single-story building to house a new Five Guys restaurant, county records show.

A completion and opening date is not known yet.

According to company history, Five Guys began in the Washington D.C. area in 1986 and has grown to include more than 1,700 locations in North America, Europe and Asia. The menu features burgers, hot dogs, fries, milkshakes, sandwiches and drinks made to order.

Others include Panera Bread, First Watch, Chicken Salad Chick, Ono Poke and Good Liquid Brewing Co. The plaza is anchored by a Lowe’s home improvement store.
