Marauders upended in bottom of 9th

Mike Gerber had a walk-off double with one out in the ninth inning, and the Lakeland Flying Tigers topped the Bradenton Marauders 5-4 on Tuesday.

Jake Robson scored the game-winning run after he reached base with a single and advanced to second on a single by Sergio Alcantara.

One batter earlier, Alcantara singled, scoring Jose Azocar to tie the game 4-4.

The Marauders took a 4-3 lead in the top of the eighth when Will Craig hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Mitchell Tolman.

Jeff Thompson (3-2) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Daniel Zamora (2-3) took the loss in the Florida State League game.
