Ever wanted to climb Disney’s Tree of Life? These guys tried, reports show
It may have happened in Animal Kingdom, but it certainly wasn’t animals trying to climb the famous “Tree of Life” at Walt Disney World, according to reports.
Four men tried to scale the massive tree at the center of Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom park on Sunday, according to Local 10 News in Miami.
Ryan Ortan was able to snap a picture of the incident around 2 p.m. Sunday, according to ABC Action News.
Guests in line for the “It’s Tough to be a Bug” attraction, a movie shown in a theater at the base of the tree, saw the four men climbing, according to Local 10 News. Some even snapped photos of the daredevils.
Walt Disney World News Today reports the men got as high as one-third of the way up the tree before they were taken away by security.
It’s unclear if there were any repercussions for those that climbed the trees, according to WDW News Today.
A photo of one of the men was posted to a reddit page, and amassed more than 100 comments.
