U.S. 41 lanes reopen after motorcycle crash
Northbound lanes of U.S. 41 have reopened Wednesday morning after a motorcycle crashed in Sarasota.
The Sarasota Police Department said that the crash occurred at the intersection of Myrtle Street just before 5:30 a.m.
The motorcyclist was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with critical injuries, said Sarasota police spokesperson Genevieve Judge.
Northbound lanes had been shut down, but reopened as of around 7:15 a.m.
The crash is still under investigation.
