Teenager in critical condition after early morning shooting in Palmetto

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in a shooting that left one victim in critical condition Saturday morning in Palmetto.

According to MCSO, deputies responded to a local hospital around 4 a.m. Saturday where a 19-year-old man had been brought in with a gunshot wound. According to witnesses, the shooting happened in the 300 block of 21st Street West in Palmetto.
