Suspects sought in theft of 29-foot boat

A 29-foot boat and its trailer are missing from a boat dealer, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 9 p.m. Tuesday, an unknown number of suspects tore down a fence at GT Marine, located at 7981 N. Tamiami Trail, and snatched a brand new Crownline deck boat.

The boat, like several others, was sitting on a trailer inside a chain-link fence.

Surveillance footage shows the boat being towed away by a white over tan Ford F250 pickup truck, authorities said.
