Amber Alert issued for four Manatee County siblings missing since Friday

An Amber Alert has been issued for four siblings reported missing by their grandmother Friday, after their mother — who temporarily lost custody — took them, and investigators believe they may be in danger.

Jowella Gadeaun, 12; Joseph Gadeaun Jr., 10; Jacqueline Gadeaun, 8; and Jocelyn Gadeaun, 6, were reported missing at 5 p.m. Friday by their grandmother, who told deputies that she didn’t think they were in danger.

The children are believed to be with their mother, Jaima Gadeaun, traveling in a 2016 dark green Toyota Corolla with license plate number BNZQ08.

“We have since found some information that they could be in danger,” Manatee County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dave Bristow said Wednesday night.

As a result, the sheriff’s office requested an Amber Alert be issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and was approved Wednesday night.

Jaima Gadeaun, who is allowed supervised visits, had gone to the grandmother’s home in the 1500 block of 15th Street Court East in Bradenton and took the children on Friday.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts should call 911 or contact their local law enforcement agency.
