Tampa police investigating fatal shooting at convenience store

An employee at 29th Street Store in Tampa has been killed during an attempted robbery, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Tampa police was dispatched shortly after 12:30 p.m. Sunday to the convenience store at 2802 N. 29th St., where the victim was found shot and killed.

The victim’s name has not been released.
