Man dead after jumping off Sunshine Skyway

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a man jumped off the Sunshine Skyway Bridge Monday morning.

At 8:19 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol was notified of a person who jumped. Twenty minutes later, officials located the man, who had died.

Hillsborough deputies will conduct a death investigation.
