The Palmetto Historical Commission is hosting a community yard sale 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Feb. 17 in Palmetto Historical Park. Thirty tables will be set up selling treasures and bargains of all kinds. Word of Mouth BBQ will be on site selling barbecue sandwiches and hot dogs. Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be raising funds to help fight childhood cancer. The Manatee County Cattlemen’s Association will hold its 10th annual Ranch Rodeo beginning at noon Feb. 17 at the Manatee County Fairgrounds, 1402 14th Ave. W., Palmetto. The ranch rodeo will begin with a grand entry followed by events that include team sorting, team doctoring, a children’s “boot race” where children ages 5 to 13 compete for prizes, calf branding, double mugging, a kid’s calf scramble, and the final event: trailer loading. The second annual Exotic Car Festival is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 17 on Main Street, Lakewood Ranch. The event features more than 100 exotic cars including rare Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Lotus, McLarens and more. The event is presented by the Ferrari Drivers Group and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The Florida State Fair continues through Feb. 19 at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301, Tampa.
