Pirates’ pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training

The first Pittsburgh Pirates players began arriving Monday at Pirate City, in advance of the start of Spring Training in Bradenton.

Officially, players aren’t due until Tuesday, but they began arriving Monday for their physicals. The first full squad workout is Thursday.

The first Spring Training game at the re-christened LECOM Park in Bradenton is Feb. 25, against the Baltimore Orioles.
