Florida State band offers to help Chiefs get ‘War Chant done right’ at Super Bowl

It’s a little under 500 miles from Tallahassee, Florida to Miami, but the Florida State band is up for a road trip.

After the Chiefs beat the Titans 35-24 and punched their ticket to Super Bowl LIV, the Florida State band tweeted a message:

The Tallahassee Democrat said David Plack, Florida State’s director of athletic bands and co-director of the Marching Chiefs tweeted the message even though he knows a trip to the Super Bowl isn’t in the cards.

“Just my tongue in cheek way of saying we’re the originators and that no one does it better,” Plack told the Democrat.

Florida State fans certainly think they do The Chop better than Chiefs Kingdom:
