‘I was up until 4 a.m. last night.’ Shakira and JLo spill details on Half Time show

They’re ready.

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are all set for the big halftime show on Sunday during Super Bowl 54 at Hard Rock Stadium, they affirmed at a news conference Thursday at the Hilton Miami Downtown.

Lopez, 50, arrived in a white pant suit with a halter top, her sexy, toned body absolutely glowing, no joke. Shak, 42, kept things more casual in a T-shirt and ripped jeans.

Both superstars said they have been prepping like mad (we’ve seen evidence of JLo working out at her fave local gym, Somi Fitness, with her fiance Alex Rodriguez), and are both in the zone.

“We went to the stadium the other day and you feel so much energy,” said Lopez. “There are so many eyeballs and so much attention on this moment, on the game, on the show. The minute you walk in to the stadium you feel it: It’s this beautiful kind of tense energy where you just know you have to rise to the occasion. You gotta be ready.”

Shakira admitted that she had a few pregame jitters about performing in front of 100 million or so people around the world.

“I was up until 4 a.m. last night trying on a pair of shorts and kind of tearing [up] because they didn’t fit right,” the Colombian pop star said to laughs. “So, it’s nerve-wracking but it’s also exhilarating.”

“Yeah!” Lopez added. “It’s definitely a ride.”

“Yes, a crazy ride,” said the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer. “But I think the relieving factor is that there are going to be people out there cheering for us, fans. And it’s in Miami! It’s an important nest for the Latino community. It’s been a vital city for me. A huge part of my career has been forged here, and on my birthday too!”

Shakira turns 43 on Sunday, so be sure to wish her a happy one.

Any last-minute preparations beside 5,000 crunches and 3,000 burpees?

JLo said she will definitely be bringing an accessory, her famed bling cup, which has been highlighted in a few of the entertainer’s most recent Instagram posts.

“I’ll need it!” she said.

When asked what liquid would be inside, she quickly answered, “Water!”

The women didn’t want to add too much else about the performance, and wouldn’t address a rumor that there would be a tribute to Kobe Bryant.

“It’s very Shakira, and it’s very Jennifer,” said Lopez. “That’s what you’re going to get. It’s a lot of energy, very entertaining. There’s heartfelt moments. We run the gamut. It’s packed with a lot of awesome moments.”

Shakira added that the show will be “different but complementary.”

“We don’t want to give too much away,” Lopez said. “We want everyone to be surprised.”
