Two Georgia Powerball tickets were a number shy of the $96 million jackpot, but the winners will still take home sizable prizes.

The lucky players each won $50,000 after matching four of five numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Wednesday, June 26, according to the Georgia Lottery.

The winning tickets were purchased from:

  • Chevron Food Mart on Holcomb Bridge Road in Alpharetta
  • The Georgia Lottery app by a Powder Springs resident

The winning numbers Wednesday were 4, 9, 36, 47, 56 and red Powerball 7, according to the lottery game’s website. The Power Play option was 5X.

There were no $2 million or $1 million winners and no one snagged the grand prize, pushing the jackpot to an estimated $113 million, results show.

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, June 29.

What to know about Powerball

To score the jackpot in the Powerball, a player must match all five white balls and the red Powerball.

Tickets can be bought on the day of the drawing, but sales times and price vary by state.
