Firehouse Subs is celebrating customers of a certain name with free sandwiches.

Anyone with a first name matching the “name of the day” can receive a free medium sub with any purchase at participating restaurants nationwide, the sandwich chain announced in a news release.

New names are chosen daily: James, Fernando and Susan kicked off the giveaway on Wednesday, June 14, according to the restaurant’s website.

More “lucky-named” customers will have a chance at a free sub until June 23.

There are a few exceptions, however.

Subs are limited to one per customer per visit, and a photo ID is required, the company said. Delivery and online orders are also excluded.

Lastly, customers are free to craft their perfect sandwich with additions or substitutions — but it could cost extra.
