High-wind advisory issued for Skyway
Those driving over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge are asked to do so with caution Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m., the Florida Department of Transportation issued a high-wind advisory. The gusts are expected to stay high into the night, according to the National Weather Service.
Winds will blow north-northwest at about 15-17 mph, but could be as strong as 24 mph. Commuters are asked to exercise caution as they cross the bridge.
