Bradenton man charged in hit-and-run crash in Sarasota

A 32-year-old Bradenton man has been cited for May 8 a hit-and-run crash that damaged a parking garage gate in Sarasota , according to Sarasota police.

Damage from the crash at 1390 Main St. was estimated at $31,000.

Last week, police released surveillance video showing the crash.

Wednesday morning, police cited Federico E. Freire for leaving the scene of an accident without giving information, which is a misdemeanor.
