MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is looking for two "persons of interest" in the fatal shooting of a Bradenton man early Monday outside a Palmetto strip club.

The sheriff's office Wednesday released security camera footage of two men and a vehicle they were seen leaving in from the parking lot of the Atlantis Gentlemen's Club, 3800 U.S. 41 N. The car was described as a light-colored Toyota Camry.

"We have reason to believe that they could be involved," sheriff's office spokesman Dave Bristow said. "We need to locate them."

Dominic Orr was found shot death outside the strip club when deputies responded to reports of shots being fired. The suspected shooter Durrell Jones who had been seen leaving the scene, was later questioned.

Based on the statements and evidence that has been collected, the sheriff's office says it appears the shooting was in self-defense. Orr is seen on the club's surveillance video footage taking out his gun first and attempting to shoot Jones, but the gun didn't go off.

"With what we have, with the people we have interviewed all the evidence points to self-defense," Bristow said. "But we don't know what will happen after we talk to these individuals."

No charges have been filed in the case, which is being investigated by the Manatee County Homicide Investigative Unit.

Anyone with information can call the sheriff's office at 941-747-3011, ext. 2159, or Manatee County Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
