The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday that the man accused of shooting and killing another man in Bradenton after an argument in 2021 was arrested by U.S. marshals.

Anthony Rahming, 26, was arrested by marshals in Detroit, Michigan, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

He’d been on the run for over a year when county investigators learned he was in Macomb County, Michigan, and worked with federal authorities to find him.

Rahming is scheduled to be extradited back to Manatee County, where he’s been charged with second-degree murder.

At 6:30 p.m. Dec. 16, 2021, Tracy Priester, 29, was found shot to death inside a vehicle parked at the Winn-Dixie on 53rd Ave. East.

During an argument between the two men at a residence in the 6100 block of 10th St. East in Bradenton, detectives believe that Rahming shot and killed Priester.

A friend of Priester attempted to drive him to the hospital but pulled over in the grocery store parking lot to call 911.

Priester was pronounced dead in the parking lot.
