A mansion with waterfront views recently hit the market with a $26 million price tag.

Located in the Lido Shores community near Longboat Key and St. Armand’s Circle, the home price also includes an empty lot next door. The main residence at 1209 Westway Drive, is 6,862 square feet with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.

The mansion has a resort-style pool with a waterfall, vaulted ceilings, breakfast nook and sauna with red light therapy, a “type of phototherapy that may help skin conditions, inflammation, muscle pain and other conditions,” according to Healthline.

The kitchen features a La Cornue stove, which is a luxury stove from France.

“The cool thing about the house is the way it’s laid out, basically every room has water views,” said Gordon Menniger, the property’s listing agent with Engel and Volkers. “They’re just gorgeous. The sunset is right out there, so the views are just incredible.”

The home and adjacent vacant lot total 250 feet of panoramic Gulf views. The property is two stories, too.

“It’s elevated, so (you) don’t have to worry about floods,” Menniger said. “We kind of describe it as a compound, because when you’re standing in the front of it … that stone wall is very high outside and it’s a special kind of Turkish stone that’s really neat.”

Menninger said the stone wall goes around the facade and the empty lot.

“It’s a very secure building, and you obviously have to go up the steps because it’s elevated,” Menninger said.

William “Bill” Isaac, former chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., is the mansion’s current owner. He bought the home in 2000 after serving with the FDIC from 1978 to 1985.
