An investigation is underway after an 18-year-old male was found dead inside of his home at Pic Town Estates mobile home park Sunday morning in Bradenton.

The teen died of “apparent homicidal violence,” the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Sunday afternoon. He has not been identified.

A resident of Pic Town Estates told deputies that the victim’s body was discovered around 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning in a mobile home in the 900 block of 50th Avenue Place West.

“Detectives believe this is an isolated incident,” the news release said.

No other information was immediately available.

This comes nearly a month after a shooting at the same mobile home park on June 14 left two people dead.
