Two killed in shooting at Bradenton trailer park, Manatee sheriff says. One arrested

Manatee County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a shooting that left two people dead at Pic Town Mobile Home in Bradenton early Wednesday morning.

The shooting took place just before 2 a.m. in the 1100 block of 51st Ave. Dr. W., according to a press release issued by MCSO on Wednesday.

Dominique Rogers, 28-years-old, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder Wednesday.

When deputies arrived they saw Rogers at the house with the two victims, who were already dead and had gunshot wounds.

Deputies say they spoke to Rogers, who confirmed that he shot the two victims following a dispute.

During the investigation deputies learned that Rogers had multiple active out-of-county warrants for drug-related offenses, reckless driving and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

He was arrested and is currently booked in the Manatee County Jail.
