2 Bradenton men injured after car crashes into Ellenton mobile home, troopers say

A 74-year-old Bradenton man was injured when a vehicle crashed through the side of a mobile home Friday morning, according to a crash report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say a 49-year-old Bradenton man was driving westbound on U.S. 301, just west of Gamble Court when his 2019 Honda Civic traveled off the road and crashed through the home in Lot 25 of the Highway Shores Mobile Home Park. Two people were inside the home when the crash happened around 8:48 a.m.

According to a crash report, the 74-year-old victim received minor injuries and was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital to be treated.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Lakewood Ranch Hospital with serious injuries, troopers say.

Charges are pending while the investigation continues.
