Bradenton woman to embark on another vacation thanks to her morning show notes
It’s not the first time Bradenton resident Tammy Jagosh has been called to answer a question on live television; it’s also not the first time she’s won a trip by giving the correct answer.
Wednesday morning, Jagosh correctly answered another Travel Trivia question and won an all-inclusive trip to the Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua.
Jagosh and her husband have been religiously watching the show now known as “Live with Kelly and Ryan” for about the last 10 years — and they’ve been taking notes.
The couple is entered in the show’s “Live’s Summer Seas Travel Trivia” contest, which calls contestants and asks them a question from the previous day’s show. If the contestant answers correctly, they win a trip.
Jagosh is no stranger to how the contest works. She and her husband, Steve, have been entering the contest for 10 years and have now won a total of 11 trips from the show. Jagosh herself has won four of those trips; Steve snagged the other seven.
She said her husband calls preparing for the trivia questions her “part-time job.”
“I watch the show every evening and take notes in case one of us gets called,” Jagosh said. “I wouldn’t have known today’s question without my notes.”
Wednesday’s question: The show talked to Nathan Fillion on Tuesday, who did he say he auditioned against for his role in “One Life to Live?”
“Matthew Fox,” Jagosh correctly answered.
She said she has a year to take the trip, valued at $7,400. It’s somewhere she’s never been before, but that list is quickly dwindling between the trips to Hawaii, St. Lucia, Arizona, Utah, California, Mexico and Aruba.
No matter how many trips the couple has been on, it’s still exciting to win.
“I always look forward to vacationing somewhere I haven’t been,” Jagosh said.
Now, Jagosh said she’ll have to wait another 366 days to enter the contest again, with the hopes of winning another adventure.
