Motorworks Brewing returns with several improvements after coronavirus shutdown
Bartenders are ready for customers again at Motorworks Brewing, which reopened to the public Friday evening for the first time in over two months, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thanks to a “facelift” inside the taproom and improvements to the brewery’s water filtration system, the owners are calling the return a grand reopening. The beer garden deck at Motorworks, 1014 Ninth St. W., Bradenton, has also been extended.
“After numerous renovations and additions to every facet of our operation ... we are excited to finally be able to have you here and share a beer with you,” the company said in an email to subscribers.
Customers will still need to follow social distancing guidelines. The taproom will be limited to 50 percent capacity and tables will be kept 6 feet apart, seating fewer than 10 people each.
Shortly after being forced to close, Motorworks switched gears to start crafting their own hand sanitizer for first responders and local residents. Their homemade hand sanitizer is still for sale in the taproom.
Online ordering and pickup is also available. Visit MotorworksBrewing.com for more information.
