This luxurious estate takes top spot as Manatee’s most-expensive residential listing
There is a new residential listing on the market with the highest asking price in Manatee County. And it is not on Anna Maria Island or Longboat Key.
No, that was last week, when an Anna Maria estate at 100 Beach Avenue was listed for $16.5 million.
This week, the residential listing with the highest asking price — $20 million — is Jubilee Organics, located on 12.5 acres at 9004 9th Ave. NW, Bradenton. The property has more than 600 feet of frontage on Palma Sola Bay.
Jubilee Organics is a certified organic farm that utilizes regenerative farming practices, microclimate conditions and solar and composting technology to create healthy, high-density food production and ecological harmony.
The biodiverse farm is also home to pigs, chickens, and goats.
Although the square footage is not listed, the residence, described as a modern farmhouse, is big with six bedrooms, seven full baths and two half-baths. There are two detached two-car garages, two guest studio apartments, plus a three-bedroom caretaker home on the site.
“The expansive main home boasts fine craftsmanship and hand-selected natural materials throughout, including hand-honed beamed ceilings, bluestone flooring, soapstone and marble counters, along with a blissful master retreat that highlights a walk-in closet, a private, boutique-style dressing room and a walk-in steam shower,” according to the listing.
“In addition, residents can find the gourmet kitchen with a food prep area and scullery space for a private or family chef. The exterior showcases an even more serene setting, with an infinity pool, spa, boat lift and secluded yoga/meditation hut surrounded by plush ever-growing fruit groves,” the listing says.
Other features include a chickee hut, a yoga retreat, and a food forest trail lined with different types of fruits and berries.
The home was designed by Jerry Sparkman of Sweet Sparkman Architecture & Interiors and constructed by Ross Built Custom Homes.
A great room features reclaimed wood from an Amish barn in Ohio while the master retreat has a reading room, walk-in dressing room, spa-like bath, personal laundry and private balcony.
“Jubilee presents a unique opportunity to own a private bayfront resort that is also a sustainable sanctuary. Showcasing the ultimate farm-to-table lifestyle, this property offers an abundance of natural resources that will fuel the body, mind and spirit,” said Jayne Kocher, marketing agent for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
