Mall at University Town Center hosts Taste of UTC event

The Mall at University Town Center will showcase its restaurant selection through a monthlong event in September.

The Taste of UTC will be held for the second year starting Sept. 1. Seven restaurants at The Mall at University Town Center, 140 University Town Center Drive, will offer three-course lunch and dinner menus from BRIO Tuscan Grille, Kona Grill, Seasons 52, The Capital Grille, YO! Sushi, Burger & Beer Joint and Sophie’s at Saks Fifth Avenue.

“You don’t have to be a foodie to appreciate all that the Taste of UTC has to offer,” The Mall at UTC’s marketing and sponsorship director, Kimberly Dominguez, said in a release. “This event is the perfect opportunity for our shoppers to experience new places to dine and sample freshly prepared dishes by these incredible restaurants.”

Diners can ask for the special Taste menu at participating restaurants and will be presented with two options:

Cool and Casual: A mix of contemporary and classic dishes offered by BRIO Tuscan Grille, Kona Grill, Seasons 52, Burger & Beer Joint, and YO! Sushi (three-course lunches are $15 and dinners are $29). Sample menu items include:

▪ BRIO Tuscan Grille’s Grilled Salmon Fresca

▪ Signature flatbreads from Seasons 52

▪ Delicious premium beef burgers from Burger & Beer Joint

▪ A variety of freshly prepared sushi rolls from Yo! Sushi

▪ Kona Grill’s Macadamia Nut Chicken

Fine and Wine: Dine with a more formal flair at Sophie’s at Saks Fifth Avenue (three-course lunch for $25) and The Capital Grille (three-course dinner for $49). Sample menu items include:

▪ Sophie’s signature Waldorf Chicken Salad or Turkey Chopped Salad

▪ The Capital Grille’s eight-ounce filet mignon or Porcini Rubbed Sliced Tenderloin

All participating diners will receive The Mall at UTC’s Passport to Shopping, which contains more than $600 in special offers from The Mall at UTC retailers, according to the release. To receive a passport, guests must present their dining voucher to the customer service desk near the main entrance.
