ProspectsPLUS! earns national award from Inc.

ProspectsPLUS!, a direct marketing website headquartered in Lakewood Ranch, was recently ranked in Inc. magazine’s 35th annual list of the nation’s 5,000 fastest-growing private companies.

Founded in 2003 by company president Jim Morton, ProspectsPLUS! had a three-year growth rate of 98 percent and generated $8.4 million in revenue in 2015 in earning the No. 3,348 ranking on Inc.’s list. The company specializes in design, printing and publishing tools for real-estate professionals nationwide.

According to Inc., the 2016 class achieved a median growth rate of 1,580.5 percent over the past three years and created 55,704 jobs. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2012, and be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of Dec. 31, 2015.

Previous companies to gain national exposure on the Inc. 5000 list include Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp and Zillow.
