CareerSource Suncoast hosting hiring events for PGT Industries and B&I Contractors

CareerSource Suncoast and the Goodwill Manasota Job Connection will host a hiring event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Goodwill Job Connection at 14879 Tamiami Trail in North Port.

Among those businesses in attendance will be Sarasota-based PGT Industries, a manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors that has approximately 1,800 employees. PGT will hold interviews for job openings in manufacturing assembly, loading, maintenance, leadership and human resources.

Also on Wednesday, B&I Contractors has a hiring event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CareerSource Suncoast center at 897 E. Venice Ave. in Venice. B&I has openings for the following positions: plumber foreman, plumber journeymen, plumber helper and sheet metal mechanic.
