Verizon retailer A Wireless giving away 125 backpacks Saturday at Bradenton location

Verizon premium retailer A Wireless will be giving away 125 backpacks from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday at its Bradenton location, 5295 30th Street East.

A Wireless is working in partnership with Culture of Good to donate 100,000 backpacks nationwide.

One backpack will be given per child on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies last. The backpacks will be filled with school supplies, including pencils, paper, folders and glue.

Any leftover backpacks will be donated to Manatee County schools.
