Q: What was the best business advice you ever received?
A: Be passionate, show up early and work harder than everybody else.
Q: If you could choose another profession, what would it be?
A: Biology teacher. That’s what I studied in college. I ended up in club management because I ran a club in college. I did it so well I pursued management instead of becoming a teacher.
Q: What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?
A: Having a restaurant in New York in downtown Manhattan. The restaurant did very well but the commute was getting to me.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?
A: Australia. My Aussie friends told me I need to see its beaches, nature and wildlife.
