Inventor of magnetic credit card strip to speak in Bradenton

Known as the “Grandfather of Possibilities,” Ron Klein will speak on “Innovation, Inventions and Entrepreneurs: Creating Your Own Future” at Station 2 Innovation from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 26. Klein’s talk is a part of Station 2 Innovation’s Community Network & Learn series.

Klein’s inventions, according to a release from Station 2 Innovation, include the magnetic credit card strip, MLS for real estate, the credit checking system and automating the New York Stock Exchange. Klein now works on developing innovations for the blind and mentoring other entrepreneurs.

Attendees will learn how to set goals toward solutions, see life and its challenges as a journey, ask questions to get to what is pertinent an dhow to create a roadmap for where you want to go. Station 2 Innovation is located in the historic firehouse at 912 Seventh Ave. E., Bradenton.
