Health hiring expo at MTC

Manatee Technical College is hosting a Health Careers and Hiring Expo from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the MTC East Campus, 5520 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. The event is open to the public.

Hiring managers from area hospitals and healthcare agencies will be on hand. Attendees should bring their resumes. MTC faculty will be on hand to discuss the school’s health programs: dental assisting, nursing, massage therapy, medical assisting, optometric assisting, pharmacy technician and surgical technologist.

The event is being organized by MTC’s marketing, management and entrepreneurial principles students, according to a press release.
